ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS FOR AUGUST 2026!

Ada Opara is pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of the Cumberlands. She works with adults and has experience supporting individuals navigating trauma and past experiences, relationships, communication, life transitions, personal growth, self-esteem, stress, and burnout.

With Ada, you can expect a compassionate, collaborative, and grounded therapeutic relationship. Their approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, mindfulness, and person-centered counseling to meet your individual needs. Together, therapy focuses on strengthening self-trust, deepening self-understanding, honoring your unique identity, and supporting meaningful and lasting change.

Her work is informed by a deep belief in the power of stories, cultural humility, and the importance of viewing emotions as meaningful responses rather than problems to eliminate. They strive to hold a nonjudgmental, affirming, collaborative, and culturally responsive space.

In Ada’s words, therapy is…

“Therapy is a collaborative journey where you can feel safe, supported, and truly understood. My hope is that clients leave each session with greater self-awareness, renewed confidence, and practical tools to navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful change.”

We might be a good match if…

  • you’re navigating anxiety, life transitions, grief, relationship concerns, or questions about identity and purpose

  • you’re looking for a therapist who values cultural understanding and provides an affirming and supportive environment

  • you value authenticity, compassion, insight, and practical tools for growth in the therapeutic space
