Caitlin McDaniel completed her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Missouri in Saint Louis. Caitlin specializes in working with adults and college students dealing with issues related to anxiety, OCD, ADHD, identity, perfectionism, and low self-esteem. She feels a particular kinship working with her fellow highly sensitive introverts who struggle with finding purpose and meaning in their lives.

Caitlin integrates a person-centered approach with aspects of Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed Parts Work and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She is first and foremost a great listener, and her main hope is to help clients radically accept who and where they are within their unique path toward wholeness. Her style is characterized by warmth, genuineness, and humor, and she aims to use her own difficulties as a complex human to be a knowledgeable and creative resource for her clients.

In Caitlin’s words, therapy is…

I believe there’s something mysterious and wonderful within all of us that already knows what we need and how to get there - oftentimes we just need to figure out what’s getting in the way. Whether you are going through some shit and need a safe place to land, or you’re experiencing mental health issues requiring more individualized strategies, I look forward to offering you a truly nonjudgmental space to exist and reconnect with yourself and your highest values.

We might be a good match if…

  • You’re often feeling uncomfortable in your own skin and would like to cultivate a sense of goodwill toward yourself

  • You just feel stuck and want support in figuring out why and what to do about it

  • You have or suspect you have an anxiety disorder or ADHD
