ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS!

Jackie Buchheit completed her Master’s in Art Therapy Counseling at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. She works with adolescents and adults and has experience supporting individuals navigating identity, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, grief, and life transitions.

With Jackie, you’ll find a collaborative and curious presence and an approach that integrates art therapy, DBT skills, CBT, and mindfulness to support your unique process. Therapy with her is centered around creativity, building self-trust, exploring patterns, and creating meaningful change.

Her work is informed by a deep belief in the power of creativity to promote self-discovery, and she strives to hold space that is nonjudgmental, anti-oppressive, and affirming.

In Jackie’s words, therapy is…

Therapy is a safe space to explore true vulnerability and healing with someone who values you for you. It can be scary and painful, but also joyful and life-changing.
