Jeanne Sanchez is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri. Jeanne works with adults of all ages and specializes in childhood trauma, self-esteem, anxiety, ADHD, and life transitions. She has a particular passion for supporting women through their reproductive years and along their path of parenthood–whether longing, expecting, or adjusting.
Jeanne’s work is rooted and supported in training (IFS Level 1) and supervision in Internal Family Systems, an evidence-based psychotherapy that helps people heal by accessing and tending to their protective and wounded inner parts. She also has advanced training in Perinatal Mental Health from Postpartum Support International. Therapy with Jeanne is a warm, compassionate space where all parts of you are welcome. She believes that healing happens in an atmosphere of curiosity, acceptance, and deep self-understanding.
In Jeanne’s words, therapy is…
Therapy is a safe space to settle your internal battles. It’s a place where all your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are welcome–even the ones you struggle with, the ones you wish away, or the ones you don’t feel particularly proud of. It’s a space of deep acceptance and curiosity, where you can gently explore your inner world without judgment.
We might be a good match if…
you resonate with an IFS/parts model of therapy
you find yourself repeatedly facing the same old patterns or issues that keep resurfacing
you tend to shy away from certain feelings, worried that they might become too overwhelming to handle
you want to tend to themes of motherhood, parenthood, and where these roles/decisions intersect with identity
