Khayla Mclauchlin is pursuing a master’s in clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Missouri in Saint Louis. She works with adults and adolescents and has experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, identity exploration, interpersonal relationships, life transitions, and much more.

With Khayla, you’ll find a warm and collaborative presence and an approach that integrates family systems, relational-cultural, and cognitive-behavioral frameworks to support your unique journey. Therapy with Khayla is centered around deepening insight, exploring personal identity, and expanding connection.

Her work is informed by lived experience, continuing education and training, and personal exploration of the identities that shape her. She aims to create a therapeutic environment that is nonjudgmental, warm, collaborative, and accepting.

In Khayla’s words, therapy is…

Therapy to me means curating an environment that fosters care, collaboration, and insight. I want this to be a space that encourages people to explore who they are, fully and honestly.”

We might be a good match if…

  • you’re a woman navigating identity and relationships

  • you’re looking for a therapist who understands oppressive systems and how that impacts worldview and self-expression

  • you value authenticity and humor, introspection and reflection
