ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS!

Melody Kim s a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri and received her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the College of William and Mary. Melody works with teens and adults and specializes in anxiety, OCD, and depression.

With Melody, you’ll find a gentle and compassionate approach, creating a safe space where you can speak from the heart. Her therapy style blends Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), all focused on being authentic, empathetic, and empowering. As a second-generation Asian American, Melody also brings a culturally informed perspective to therapy.

While Melody is all about meeting you where you are in life, she is specifically trained in helping people shift their relationship with anxiety and OCD. This can include generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic, and phobias. She also works with different forms of OCD, such as relationship, contamination, just-right, and scrupulosity. Over time, her clients often feel more empowered to live in a way that aligns with their values rather than their fears.

In Melody’s words, therapy is…

Therapy is when we practice being lovingly honest with ourselves about our deepest needs. It’s about inviting parts of us to come to the surface and learning to hold them with compassion. It can be tough at times—letting go of what’s kept us feeling safe means stepping into uncertainty. But it’s also a rewarding journey that helps us live more authentically, in tune with who we truly are and what matters most.

We might be a good match if…

  • you are looking for a safe, supportive space to unload your burdens

  • you are exploring your identity through transitions, roles, and cultures

  • you want to change your relationship with anxiety, OCD, and depression
